Tread lightly
This image was made at the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. I visited on a quiet day when few others were braving the wind and rain. The seas were boiling from a storm that had passed through the day before. The waves were soaking the rocks, so I had to tread lightly on why way to making this photograph.
I had not got a tripod with me that day but wanted to capture the beauty of long exposure. This 8s Image was made using the columnar basalt as a temporary base with a helping hand to hold the camera firm for the period of exposure.
