Seeing Walks –  Slow photography in changing light

These walks are not about covering distance or collecting images.  They are about slowing down, paying attention, and learning to recognise when a photograph is quietly forming.  We move at the pace the light demands, not the clock.

What to expect:

• A slow, unhurried walk through a carefully chosen landscape

• Gentle prompts about light, position, and timing

• Space to pause, wait, and observe without pressure

• Small groups and plenty of quiet

Who this is for:

• Photographers who enjoy landscape and light

• People who feel rushed by their usual way of working

• Anyone who wants to slow their photographic process

• All camera types welcome, experience matters less than curiosity

What this is not:

This is not a technical workshop and it is not focused on camera settings or post-processing.  There is no requirement to come away with finished images.  The emphasis is on attention, patience, and noticing rather than instruction.

Register Interest:

The first Seeing Walks are planned for autumn 2026, with dates and locations shaped by light, season, and weather.  If this approach resonates with you, you can register your interest below.  Those on the list will be the first to hear when dates are confirmed.

We will only use this information to contact you about these events and you will not be added to any mailing lists nor will your data be passed on or sold.
